These two got married at the beach where they met at the beautiful Regatta Inn at Folly Beach in South Carolina on a gorgeous day in March.
Both of them were so happy and excited to marry each other and their joyful spirit was infectious. It is always so much being being around people who are just excited to be married and start their new life together as husband and wife.
Seth and Jami are one of the most laid back couples I know and were just so gracious to have me in Charleston on their wedding day! Their relationship has a quiet confidence that is easily seen throughout the room. Both Seth and Jami know that the root of everything is family and that could be seen throughout their day. Boy do these people have wonderful families. Not only was I treated as if I was one of their friends, but there was an easiness in the room making it feel as if I was an important part of the day. Everyone also constantly made sure that I had enough to each, which we all know made me very happy.
The Regatta Inn and Folly Beach were also gorgeous places. The Regatta has these beautiful balconies that you can see the amazing sunset from (it’s right on the water) and Folly Beach has a great park where we took their portraits. There was this peacefulness and calm that added to the morning of the wedding allowing for everyone to get ready and get excited to the music of the ocean and the stillness of being on a little island away from all the noise of the city.
Oh these two have adventurous hearts. After we were done taking their formals I jokingly asked if they wanted to get in the ocean and Jami basically ran in saying yes! I’m only going to wear this thing once. She ran into the water and Seth was quickly to follow both realizing soon that the water was way colder than they had originally thought. Both of them were soon laughing and realizing that they just got sprayed and were now soaked in their wedding clothes, neither one of them said anything and continued to laugh and play in the ocean.
Thank you for your adventuring free spirits and zest for life. I can’t wait to see what new goals and graces are ahead of you.
