Wilmington Wedding Photographer
Beau and Aleigh were married a year ago and I got to spend the weekend with them in Wilmington for their anniversary session! I actually grew up with Aleigh and I remember her adamantly telling me on July 4th that Beau wasn’t going to propose any time soon. But then he did it a on a mountaintop in Ireland #engagementgoals
I want to tell you everything about these two and how I love them so much, but there just isn’t enough time for that. They complement each other so well and are definitely a power couple. They have a humble grace about their relationship that makes you want what they have in their relationship. They have been together since high school and we talked about hilarious stories that they have about each other back then, like how their first date was to see one of the new Twilight movies aka ultimate romance.
They have been married for a full YEAR now and we wanted to document that with some epic beach pictures because who doesn’t like sunset pictures on the beach? Wrightsville Beach is gorgeous and the perfect place to celebrate their time together growing in their relationship when they were in school (at UNCW) and as they grow in their second year of marriage as husband and wife.
Anniversary shoots are so good because there’s a whole new dynamic between the couple . There’s a comfortableness that comes with time together that allows for another whole dynamic. I whole-heartedly believe that time needs to be celebrated, especially anniversary milestones. That’s why these shoots are the best to me.
Raleigh and Beau let me spend the weekend with them in their home and it was so fun to catch up, run around the beach, and eat all of the ice cream.
